Linda Maxine PENFOLD (daughter of George HASKINS and Genola LINKER) was born on 7 Sep 1956 in Racine, Racine County, Wisconsin. She died on 21 Sep 2011 in West Allis, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. RACINE -

Linda M. Scheit, 55, passed away Wednesday morning, September 21, 2011, in Select Specialty Hospital in West Allis due to complications of diabetes.

She was born September 6, 1956, in Racine, the daughter of George and Genola (nee: Linker) Haskins. Linda married Thomas Scheit on June 28, 1976, in Racine. She was a homemaker and had been employed with St. Mary's Hospital. Linda enjoyed bowling with her husband and spending time with her grandkids and loved to make everyone laugh. She was also very fond of John Wayne.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas; three children, Angela (Jeremie Thiel), Eric, and Rocky; grandchildren, Andrew, Cyril, Angel, Kailey, and Aiden; her father, George Haskins; her sister, Patricia; and brother, Gilbert; brothers-in-law, Bruce (Paricia) and Robert Scheit; and sister-in-law, Sue Coey; along with nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She joins in Heaven, her mother, Genola; brothers, Wesley and Cletus 'Puggy'; and sisters, Debra and Polly.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 26, 2011, at 2 p.m. in Strouf Funeral Home, Dr. M.A. Miritz officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. The family will receive guests in the funeral home on Monday from 12 p.m. until the time of the services.
