Mrs David Erickson

Mrs. David Erickson, 34, former Eau Claire resident, now of 9536 W. Oklahoma Ave., West Allis, died Thursday morning at her home.

The former Sharon Wangen was born in Eau Claire June 24, 1940 and was married to David Erickson in Milwaukee Aug. 10, 1963. She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Milwaukee and was treasure of the West Allis Cub Scouts.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Jon, David and Derek, all at home; three daughters, Lori, Diana and Cherie Lynn, all at home; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John E. Wangen, Eau Claire; two brothers, Douglas Wangen, Menomonie and Allen E Wangen, US Navy; two sisters Debra and Susan Wangen both of Eau Claire.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Stokes and Sons Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel from 4 to 9 p,m, today and Saturday noon until the Service. She was buried on 31 May 1975 in Forest Hill Cemetery, Eau Claire, Eau Claire County, Wisconsin. Find A Grave #100882721

The marriage of Miss Sharon Wangen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wangen Jr., 309 Chestnut St., and Ronald Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Everett Miller, Rt2 , was solemnized Saturday at 3 p.m. in Spring Brook Lutheran Church. Officiating was the Rev. Karl Anderson.

The bridal gown of Chantilly lace over taffeta was styled with a scalloped neckline, trimmed with sequins, and three-quarter length sleeves. Her veil fell from a pearl and sequin She was divorced from Ronald Marvin MILLER in 1962. Sharon Renee WANGEN and Ronald Marvin MILLER had the following children:

She was married to David Duane ERICKSON (son of Adolph Oliver ERICKSON and Cora Agnes PETERSON) on 10 Aug 1963 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. Sharon Renee WANGEN and David Duane ERICKSON had the following children:

Erickson, Derek John (D.J.), of Milwaukee, WI, was born to eternal life on December 6, 2013, at the age of 42.

Loving son of David and Fabby Erickson. Beloved brother of Diana (Keith) Lange, Dave Erickson, Cherie (Tom) Altman, Patrick McAndrew, Shannon (Jose) Lara, Laura (Keith) Simon, Lori (Rick) Flynn, and Jon Miller. Proud uncle to Pepe, Eric, Samantha, Azriel, Travis, Caleb, Nick, Kayla, Trisha, Hannah, Quincy, Will, and Abigail. Also survived by grandmother, Marge Wangen; aunts; uncles and other family and friends.

Preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Erickson; grandparents, John Wangen, Adolph and Cora Erickson; other aunts and uncles.

His kindhearted soul will be missed by all who knew him.

Funeral Services will be on Friday, December 13, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Stokes, Prock and Mundt Funeral Chapel, 535 S. Hillcrest Parkway, Altoona, WI 54720 with Pastor Lowell Halvorson officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the chapel. Inurnment for family will be on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Forest Hill Cemetery.
